Born in the steel mill town of Midland, Pennsylvania, Brett Green graduated from East Liverpool High School in Ohio in 2002, as his hometown no longer had a high school due to the steel industry not being as it once was. He has had his hand in so many positions in his short life that most people often don’t believe he is still in his 30’s.
Having played Division I basketball at Robert Morris University and football at the University of Akron, everything that Brett has done in his professional life has been to assist and to serve others. After graduating from the University of Akron with a B.A. in Psychology, he held positions as a high school basketball, football, and track coach while starting his own sports training organization and earning his M.A. in Counseling from Geneva College.
Moving to Stafford County, Virginia with his wife and newborn daughter, he continued to coach and worked as a High School Guidance Counselor and a Deputy Sheriff, helping to shape the minds of youth in the area and often speaking life into those he interacted with in his law enforcement duties.
He earned a M.Ed. with Administration Certification from California University of Pennsylvania during this time. The pursuit of a career in the FBI was derailed as he and his wife chose to move back to Ohio with their two children and settle down closer to family.
Brett continued to make positive changes in the lives of youth as a Principal at a Dropout Prevention High School in Cleveland, Ohio, holding his students to a higher standard than others as his students’ class completion rates often doubled the numbers of other schools within the system.
Brett then spent time in Healthcare Administration and helped start two separate Drug and Alcohol Treatment Centers in Ohio, as well as advise leadership of other Treatment Centers and Hospitals in both Ohio and Pennsylvania. In this role, he has been able to speak to Clergy men and women, Hospital executives, physicians and nurses, support groups, and many others in order to positively affect change in the care of those struggling with drug and/or alcohol addiction.
Brett is currently one of the top Real Estate agents in Eastern Ohio and Western Pennsylvania and works with both buyers and sellers in Residential and Commercial Real Estate. He has worked with both local and international organizations in their sales and acquisition of properties. He is also the Head Girls Varsity Basketball Coach at Boardman High School, a Division 1 program in Northeast Ohio, and has served on the School Board of the Buckeye Online School for Success (BOSS) for the past 5 years.
