Jonathan Trapp graduated from EHS in 1999.
Jonathan Trapp was born and raised in Alexandria, V.A., where he attended Episcopal High School from 1995-1999. He served as Head Monitor, as a member of the Honor Committee, Captain of the Varsity Track Team and the undefeated 1998-1999 Varsity Football Team. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Latin American Studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
Prior to becoming an attorney, Mr. Trapp worked as a teacher, and also served as an athletics coach for five years coaching football, basketball, and track on varsity levels. After teaching both middle and high school, Jonathan Trapp attended the Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law at Campbell University.
For the last decade, Attorney Trapp worked as the Lead Attorney at the Law Offices of James D. Williams, Jr. where he served under the leadership of the renowned attorney "Butch" Williams. During his tenure at the firm, Attorney Trapp specialized in the legal practice areas of Criminal Defense, Traffic, and Sweepstakes.
Jonathan W. Trapp is the Senior Attorney of Trapp Law, PLLC, where he is dedicated to sound counsel, thorough strategy, and unwavering resolve to meet his clients' needs. Jonathan has represented clients in Federal Court in the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts as well as multiple counties throughout the State of North Carolina. Mr. Trapp currently serves on the board for the Durham County Bar Association, where he heads the Public Outreach Committee and is a member of the George White Bar Association.
Attorney Trapp presently resides in Wake Forest, North Carolina with his wife and their five children, and is an active member of Celebration Church.
